Blue
Pixels

BRIEF

On June 15, 2025, low resolution civilian videos showed groups of men in identical blue clothing running along an exit road from Tehran after the first attacks on Iran. Circulating online without official confirmation, these “poor images” were rapidly re captioned with conflicting labels, from prisoners to escapees.

Blue Pixels is a video art work that works with this material through montage and visual distortion, questioning how images in crisis are seen, circulated, and politically interpreted. It explores how meaning shifts between evidence, rumor, and projection.
